Greetings everyone!
I know I owe you an explanation for the radio silence, so here it is: My lovely wife is in the final stages of pregnancy.
She’s felt better and been healthier in many ways than she was with our first child, but of course she’s had to slow down. That’s bad news for the comic, because she does as much as three normal people, and it leaves quite a gap.
So I’ve been going to town on family visits, household chores and the setup of the nurseroffice that we’ve procrastinated. That plus a day job equals no comic.
I’ve finished a couple which will post Monday and Wednesday of next week. The plan at the moment is to regain a regular schedule at that point, but realistically we’ll probably experience another comic setback once the baby comes.
It’s a bummer, but I hope you understand when I say that a healthy pregnancy and preparing our family for “the new kid” are fulfilling and enjoyable reasons for shirking “lesser” duties like the comic.
