Here are three hilarious Valentine-related stories.

Story 1: A couple of years ago, when Fresh Fish was running the first time, I made these silly little Valentine “cards.” Looking back, you can definitely see some redesign. I’m also not sure how well-written I’d say they are, but as you’ll be able to see from the other 2 stories, that makes them perfect Valentines. Here they are:



Story 2: I have a candy heart that’s almost 10 years old. It’s yellow and it just says “BOOK CLUB” on it. I keep it with my replacement pen nibs. If anybody has verifiable information on why such a thing exists, I’d love to hear about it.

Story 3: I recieved a Valentine card from a grade-schooler a couple of years ago featuring Optimus Prime from the popular movie “Transformers.” The message on the card was, “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings, Valentine.”
