By a unanimous vote of 2 (3 if you count mine), Zeke won out over Bailey in Day 1. Here are your contenders for Day 2:
Bojangles (Bo for short) or Zep?

(In the interest of full disclosure, I don’t know whether “Zep” would be a complete name, short for Zepheniah or short for Zeppelin.)
Hey everybody. I changed the website’s layout theme. Everything should still be functional and intuitive enough for you to figure out.
I reverted to an out-of-the-box theme for the purpose of actually working on a different theme and “sandboxing” it before subjecting you to its horrors.
OK, the first two names up for voting are

Lots to share in the next few days. Let’s start with something kind of fun.
Mac has a dog. As a character he’s almost as old as Mac himself, and I’ve had a name for him since then. I recently decided for a couple of reasons that the name doesn’t really work and I’m trying to come up with one.
I think I’ve narrowed it down, so this game won’t probably affect the outcome, but here’s what I propose: A bracket-style format to see what name wins the popular vote.
I have 8 names, so the first four days will comprise “round 1.” Then the next two days will pair the four winners up and form “round 2.” Then, on the final day, the winners of those two will be the popular pick.
I’ll tally the votes after more or less 24 hours (Votes started on Friday evening will continue ’til the same time Monday) and I’ll try to post each new day’s bracket around the same time.
It’s not incredibly accurate, but it is fun. You can vote each day by way of comment to a blog post here, or on the Fresh Fish Facebook page.
I know the dog has appeared here at least so far.
Family illness may spell travel and time for our family this week, so the status of the comic will be (even) more “on the fly” than usual.
